I’ve bin hunting the record since I heard about the challenge. I got close a couple of times, but never over. Finally I got it, on a day I didn’t expect it, leaving the shore for the races at the Swedish Nationals. Sailing between the rocks on absolute flat water. Got hit by a gust and beared of in perfect balance flying one hull just 5cm over the water. Jabadabadooooooo !

The below track was recorded on my Velocitec on Friday July 20th in the afternoon.
Practice day before the Finger lakes regatta in Ithaca NY USA on lake Cayuga.
NO CURRENT WAS PRESENT.
Boat was a bim , USA 200, Hall spar, Glazer sail. Blowing 15-25 from the NW, flat water.
I got a good puff, went to the back of the boat sheeted hard and took it down.
The reason for the circular track afterwards was the man I was sailing with capsized in the same puff and I went back for him.
