Six regattas were held in warm and sunny conditions with winds ranging from 5 kts to 20 + kts. Paolo Penco won followed by Giovanni Calabria and Manuel Vaccari of OXO sailmakers. For the record Manuel just won the French Nationals and Paolo and Giovanni just placed 1st and 2nd at the Swiss nationals. Well done to all three Italian helmsmen .Circolo Velico Scirocco provided outstanding support and logistics both ashore and on the racecourse as well as the customary superb Sicilian hospitality. Good wind and sunshine did the rest to make this a memorable series.</div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
