Interview with Arno Terra from DNA

In the process they have sold lots of boats contributing in a direct way to the Class health and also some additional exposure with the AC guys going for their A as test beds for the new multi campaigns.

Dutch Nats 2013 for Thilo Keller

9 races compelted for the Dutch Nats with 4 bullets and three 2nds for the winner. Report and images sent by Kees Krijger: "First day with light winds and better conditions for the rest of the weekend. Thilo Keller, another sailor sailing his own design, the Arrow MKII, was the fastest in light as in strong winds.
The Germans sailors were quite succesful at Hellevoetsluis, as Sebastian Moser was second on a Scheurer and Matthias Dietz third on a Nikita.
First Dutchmen was Erwin Kerstens, who was invited to sail on the Vision of his friend

New 'Addiction A-Cat' launched

Another successful A-Class project was launched in France. The Addiction A-Cat is built by a group of dedicated sailors that wanted to provide the locals with a French built A. They already won their first event showing is possible to race competitively a great number of designs currently available, this is just great news for the Class.

Report sent by Thierry Boisbouvier - "Our A-Cat Addiction raced for first times with S daggerboard and T rudders against all the best French sailors and won it first event.

Italian Assoc 2015 Worlds bid for Punta Ala

A new bid came in to compete with Weymouth & Sopot to host the 2015 Worlds.

Dear sailors,

Italy asks also to organize the 2015 Worlds and propose a location in the bay of Punta Ala in Tuscany as an ideal place for a World Championship. You will find all details of this great place hereafter in the enclosed file. The idea was born in June when we did a Race of A Cat. I know personally the location and i sailed there many regattas and championships with great conditions as the termic wind durning summer are between 12 to 18 knots, so ideal for A-Cat.

Open Dutch Championships 23, 24, 25 August - Hellevoetsluis

The Dutch A-Class Catamaran Association invites you to the Open Dutch Championships to be held at Hellevoetsluis on the 23rd, 24th & 25th of August.

The entry fee will be € 80.
Dutch sailors must have their membership paid to DACA.
